Bichectomy

Bichectomy is a surgical intervention that consists of the elimination of Bichat bags with the aim of improving facial features.

The so-called Bichat bags are encapsulated fatty tissues, delimited and independent of the other tissues, located under the cheekbones of each cheek. During childhood they give a rounded contour to the face and as they grow they diminish, refining the features. But not all people decrease in the same way.

It is a procedure to partially or totally remove the Bichat bags through a small incision made inside the cheeks. When done on the oral mucosa of the mouth, no visible scars are left.

It is a technique that is booming to refine and stylize the face. It is not a complicated surgery, it lasts about 40 minutes and does not require a lot of aftercare.
